On Tuesday, 18. 7. we participated in a meeting with the deputy mayor of Karlovac Ivana Fočić. The topic of the meeting was the amendments to the collective agreement regarding salary in Mladost D.o.o.

The deputy mayor informed us about the activities that the city is carrying out, which will lead to the transformation of youth into an institution. This would give the employee status of 1. 1. next year it should be equal to all other institutions of the city of Karlovac, while workers from the Parking service should become direct employees of the city of Karlovac.

At the end of August, Novi sindikat will hold a meeting with workers where a final decision will be made whether the proposed solutions are acceptable to all workers and are sufficient reason to abandon collective bargaining for wage increases.
