On July 13, a joint thematic session of the Committee on the Economy and the Committee on Labor, Retirement System, and Social Partnership was held. The topic of the session was: “Employment of Foreign Labor.”

At the session, Novi sindikat discussed the necessary steps to improve the position of workers employed via delivery platforms.

We believe it is necessary to:

• regulate the responsibility of agencies toward workers;
• ensure basic employment standards, similar to the law regulating the rights of seasonal workers;
• ensure equal status for foreign and domestic workers and avoid any form of discrimination.
