Dear Workers,
Three trade unions operating within the Čistoća branch (SSKH, the Croatian Drivers’ Union, and Novi sindikat) addressed a formal request for an emergency meeting to the Head of the Čistoća, as well as the President and members of the Zagreb Holding Assembly. Despite our request for a meeting within a reasonable timeframe of 10 days, we have not received the expected response.
By failing to receive a reply, we have exhausted all possibilities of resolving the issues we have highlighted in good faith through dialogue. These issues directly concern the material rights and working conditions of Čistoća workers.
Therefore, as previously announced, we are organizing a protest where we will formally present our demands:
- Increase of job complexity coefficients and working conditions supplements for workers in the 1st Job Complexity Group.
- Harmonization of job complexity coefficients for all comparable and similar positions across other subsidiaries, including the maintenance service.
- Exemption from parking charges for Čistoća workers in the parking zone in front of the branch office.
The protest will take place on December 7, 2022, at 1:00 PM in front of the entrance to the Čistoća, Radnička cesta 82.
We urge all workers to respond to this call and join the protest.
