We received a response to our request for a meeting regarding the problems in the humanitarian demining sector, which we recently sent to the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The meeting will take place tomorrow, August 25, in Sisak at the HCR premises, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Representing the Civil Protection Directorate at the meeting will be Dr. Sc. Damir Trut, Assistant Minister; Neven Karas, Coordinator for Civil Protection Affairs; and Nikša Bogdanić, Head of HCR.
The topics to be discussed at the meeting are:

The planned dynamics of demining operations by the end of 2020

The draft of planned funds and planning sizes for 2021

The announcement of a possible reduction in the number of deminers in authorized legal entities
After the meeting, we will hold a press conference to inform the public about the results.
