On Monday, March 13, a new collective agreement was concluded for the workers of the Calligaris furniture company in Ravna Gora.
For many years, the contracted wages for the lowest-paid groups of workers at Calligaris were below the legal minimum. As a result, several of the lowest job complexity groups received only the minimum wage, which improperly included the seniority allowance (past work allowance).
Under the new collective agreement, the base salary for the lowest coefficients has been set at the level of the national minimum wage for 168 hours of work. Consequently, with the addition of the seniority allowance or for months with more than 168 working hours, the average salary for regular work for the lowest category of workers will be close to €800 per month.
Furthermore, attendance and efficiency bonuses will be added to this salary once the Annex to the Collective Agreement is signed, which will formally determine the specific amounts for these bonuses.
