Following a lawsuit filed by Novi sindikat, the Supreme Court has annulled the elections for the Workers’ Council within the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Despite attempts by the SDP leadership to obstruct trade union activities within the organization, the verdict ensures that Union Commissioner Ms. Karolina Leaković will continue to exercise the rights and fulfill the obligations of the Workers’ Council in the SDP. This ruling represents a significant victory for labor rights and the protection of union activities within political organizations.
