On Friday, March 7, on the eve of International Women’s Day, we opened the exhibition “Made by the Hand of Workers: Real Fashion Creators.”

The exhibition highlights working conditions in the global textile industry, and for this presentation, we have supplemented it with a dedicated section on the Croatian textile industry.

The exhibition is authored by the Dutch organization Clean Clothes Campaign, Schone Kleren Campagne (SKC). Its realization was made possible through cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum in Zagreb.

In addition to providing extensive information about the state of the industry, visitors can meet textile workers through videos and hear their personal stories, discover practices within the global textile industry, try their hand at embroidery, attempt to reach the production norm for T-shirt folding, and test their knowledge about trade unions.

Tuesday-Friday: 11:00 – 19: 00

Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 – 14: 00

Closed on Mondays and holidays.

The exhibition will be open until March 30, 2025.

Admission is free.
